Equal Opportunity and Accommodation

Updated:

Equal opportunity

TreeTech is an equal opportunity employer. We make hiring decisions based on skills, reliability and readiness to do the work – never on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, marital or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.

Speaking English as a second language is not a barrier here. Our supervisors and mentors speak English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish, and we say so openly because it is a property of the job, not a filter on who may apply.

Work authorization and E-Verify

We hire people who are already authorized to work in the United States (EAD, Green Card or citizenship). TreeTech participates in E-Verify and confirms the employment eligibility of every new hire using the information from Form I-9. We do not sponsor work visas. We do not ask about your immigration history beyond what Form I-9 requires, and asking whether you are authorized to work is not the same as asking about your national origin.

Reasonable accommodation

If you need an accommodation to apply, to interview, or to do the job – tell us. Write to [email protected] or call (615) 314-1420 and we will discuss what is possible. Asking for an accommodation does not affect your chances.

Honest description of the work

Field technician work is physical: ladders up to 28 feet, attics and crawl spaces, weather, driving between addresses, and piece-rate pay that depends on completed work orders. We state this before you apply so that nobody is surprised on day one.

If something goes wrong

If you believe you were treated unfairly during hiring or at work, write directly to [email protected]. We look into every report and do not retaliate against people who raise concerns.
